Reports to: GM Finance & CFO
Position Summary:
The Financial Analyst reports to the Group Finance Manager and work closely with the finance team across the Group. They support the monthly financial reporting process and complete other key tasks within the finance function. The individual plays a key role in financial reporting, accounting information, financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and monthly Group reporting
- Preparing financial statements for presentation to boards of directors, management, shareholders
- Prepare financial analysis, provide reporting expertise and financial support to the business
- Managing the general ledger including preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation claims and invoices to issue to customer
- Preparation of rate cards for new client scopes
- Preparation of project forecasting and cashflows for key management
- Payroll reviews
- Work closely with operations to understand business requirements
- Company secretary duties
- Maintaining internal controls
- Management of tax submissions and payments
- Preparation of Audit files and liaising with Auditors to deal with queries
- Support the wider management team with issues and ongoing finance support
- Other ad hoc duties as required
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and a professional qualification in accounting (CA/CPA)
- At least 2 years post qualification experience in accounting or auditing,
- Comprehensive knowledge of IAASB, as well as relevant regulations and frameworks
- Experience using Xero
- High proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong Analytical skills
- Attention to detail
