We’re seeking a Finance Operations Officer to manage day-to-day financial operations, ensure accuracy in reporting, and contribute to our continued success.

Key Responsibilities

As a key part of our team, you will:

  • Ensure accurate processing in accounts receivable, daily revenue journal and stock.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger entries.
  • Collaborate across departments to monitor inventory costs and production expenses.
  • Perform Stock take
  • Deal with department heads and problem solve
  • Post journals relating to AR/Revenue and reconcile balance sheets
  • Be able to work on concert days as required
  • Willing to learn and also willing to work to meet deadlines
  • Be fast paced 
  • Implement controls and write SOP to improve control gaps 

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience with accounting software (Ezy Wine/Shopify/BEPOZ) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2+ years in a similar role, ideally in the wine, food, or beverage industry.
  • Ability to work independently and forward thinker.
  • Willingness to take on additional responsibilities when required.

 Additional Requirements:

  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
  • Knowledge of wine and winery operations (preferred).
