We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Accountant to join our Finance team at our manufacturing facility in Dandenong South on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional looking to broaden their experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will report directly to the Head of Finance – Manufacturing and Contracts, supporting a range of financial activities, operational projects, and business improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the management and reporting of fixed assets within SAP
Contribute to product costing activities, including:
Building costing templates and inputting data for review
Developing recharge models for laboratory services
Analysing machine and analyst time from process start to completion
Mapping key technical and quality processes (QA, OC, Micro, etc.)
Documenting the product lifecycle for Aspen-manufactured goods from raw material to final product
Assist with R&D tax incentive claims
Provide monthly reporting support to the IT department
Contribute to internal financial operations documentation
Support operational process documentation for factory activities
Assist with financial modelling, including ROI, IRR, and NPV analysis for capital expenditure projects
About You:
Degree-qualified Accountant or Business Analyst with a minimum of 3 years of commercial experience. CA or CPA qualified (preferable)
Experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is advantageous
Background in commercial finance or professional services (industry or practice)
Familiarity with SAP is desirable
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI
Strong data analysis and data mining capabilities
A collaborative team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
