Facility Manager – Residential Aged Care (Northern Beaches)

We’re seeking a calm, collected and hands-on Facility Manager to lead a well-regarded aged care residence on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. This is a stable, high-performing home known for its clean, welcoming environment and dedicated team.

With a significant period of change underway, this role needs a capable change agent who can lead from the front — bringing structure, consistency and confidence to staff and residents alike.

• Lead day-to-day operations across care, hospitality, and lifestyle services

• Mentor and support a strong leadership team, including Clinical Manager and department heads

• Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards

• Maintain a resident-first culture and high levels of staff engagement

• Drive innovation, operational performance, and ongoing service improvements

• Manage budgets effectively and identify opportunities for greater efficiency

Person

• Calm under pressure and able to lead through complexity

• Structured, reliable, and proactive in your approach

• Self-motivated and forward-thinking, with a drive for continuous improvement

• Clinically qualified (RN or similar) or experienced in a comparable aged care leadership role

• Passionate about delivering exceptional resident care and maintaining high operational standards

• A confident communicator, collaborator, and team builder
