• As part of the senior leadership team compliment the Executive Team in achieving the Centre’s strategic business plan.
• Provide strategic and real-time management of all BCEC assets and provide programs to support a safe, healthy environment for all stakeholders via a commitment and alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
• Lead, work with and oversee the activities of a well-established team committed to a safe and sustainable operation in the areas of:
o Building Services and Facilities Management
o Security
o Safety and Risk Management
o Asset Management
o Sustainability and Community Engagement
• Represent BCEC to the South Bank Corporation (Owner) Management and Board, to ASM Global (Venue Manager) and to client and suppliers.
• Ensure policies and procedures are implemented and acted upon, budgets are achieved, and wages and expenditures are monitored and controlled within approved guidelines
• Maintain current, relevant knowledge of related technical information, compliance and legislative change, industry trends and BCEC specific strategies and programs, implementing change or providing recommendations where necessary.
• Build and maintain strong rapport and relationships with suppliers, contractors and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and long-term success.
The successful applicant will be required to provide the Centre with a National Police Certificate Name Only (Police Check).
