Role Overview:

As the Export Sales and Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the sales and marketing expansion of Austchilli’s Avofresh and ingredient product lines across South East Asia and other export markets. Your primary objective will be to identify, establish, and nurture relationships with key distributors, retailers, and foodservice providers, ensuring the successful placement and sales growth of our high-value products. This is a full-time role based in Bundaberg, Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

•    Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy to penetrate South East Asian and other export markets, focusing on Avofresh and Ingredient product lines.

•    Lead the Marketing strategy to support and promote brand and sales initiatives. Implement the Marketing Strategy in the Asian area.

•    Identify and engage with potential distributors, retailers, and foodservice providers, building long-term partnerships and sales channels. Selling Austchilli products into these export markets.

•    Effectively communicate the unique selling points and value propositions of our products to potential customers, highlighting their superior quality and benefits.

•    Develop and negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers while maintaining profitability and ensuring customer satisfaction.

•    Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new opportunities and develop strategies to stay ahead of the competition.

•    Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, production, and logistics, to ensure smooth order fulfilment and timely delivery to customers.

•    Provide regular sales reports, market analysis, and forecasts to the management team, highlighting key performance indicators and opportunities for growth

Qualifications and Experience:

•    A bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

•    Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and business development, specifically within export markets.

•    Proven success in opening and selling into export markets within the food or FMCG industry. Having lived and worked in our proposed export markets will be highly considered for this role.

•    Strong existing retail and distribution network and relationships within South East Asian and other export markets, including North East Asia.

•    Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

•    Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

•    Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region and other export markets as required.
