The Role

We are seeking a high-performing Project Manager to join our Brisbane team to oversee the successful delivery of major infrastructure and civil engineering projects throughout South East Queensland. This senior role involves leading multiple project teams, managing key client relationships, and ensuring exceptional project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of significant civil infrastructure and transport projects

• Develop and implement comprehensive project management plans

• Establish and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation

• Lead procurement processes and manage contractor/consultant relationships

• Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks and issues

• Conduct regular progress reviews and implement corrective actions as needed

• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements

• Manage contract negotiations, variations, and claims

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders

• Lead cross-functional teams and foster a culture of excellence

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 8+ years' experience managing complex infrastructure or construction projects

• Demonstrated success delivering projects valued at $10M+

• Strong commercial acumen and financial management skills

• Extensive knowledge of construction methodologies and project delivery models

• Advanced stakeholder management and communication abilities

• Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams

• Proficiency with project management software and digital collaboration tools

• Thorough understanding of relevant legislation, standards, and industry best practices

• Current driver's license

Desirable Skills

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

• Experience with major transport infrastructure projects

• Knowledge of design and construct project delivery methods

• Experience with government and private sector projects

• Familiarity with Brisbane City Council and TMR requirements

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent

• Experience with BIM and digital project delivery approaches
