Our Educational Leaders:

  • Support the educators in the development, implementation and maintenance of the educational program

  • Support the centre management team

  • Guide the practice of the educators daily

  • Collaborate with the educators to promote an inclusive curriculum

  • Collaborate with the educators to provide an aesthetically pleasing environment

  • Collaborate with other Child's Play Educational Leaders

  • Complete various audits / reports 

  • Organise and manage the professional development plan for all educators

  • Seek and provide development content for all educators

  • Develop strong and meaningful relationships with all families and children.

  • We have a centre director and admin in the office to make up the management team

  • Pedagogical mentor provides in-house support and training

About Child's Play:
Child's Play Early Learning is a family owned business, and has 6 sites, 2 in Tarneit and 1 in Torquay, 1 in Point Cook, 1 in Wyndham Vale and 1 in Dandenong South. We are also going through an exciting period of growth and anticipate more services over the next 5 years. Essential Skills:
 

  • Educate and guide the team to incorporate an element of ‘beauty’ into the physical environment

  • Ability to guide, mentor and manage educators to provide a high-quality educational program

  • Ability to think strategically

  • Ability to energise and motivate the team

  • Ability to showcase your passion for the Reggio Emilia approach

Key requirements:

  •  Diploma of Children Services or higher

  • Three – Five years’ experience as a teacher, Room Leader or Educational Leader

  • First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training

  • Working with children check

  • Strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS
