An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Window & Door Estimator to join our team at Urban Windows & Doors. We are a successful and dynamic company who offer the full package of sales, fabrication and installation of modern aluminium windows and doors for residential and commercial construction projects. You will be an integral part of our team and working in a supportive, enthusiastic and fast paced environment. In the role you will be responsible for providing accurate and detailed cost estimates for residential window and door projects. 

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage accurate cost estimates for aluminium window and door projects in residential construction.

• Review project specifications, architectural drawings, and client requirements with precision.

• Proficient in Softech V6 Window & Door software to build the required quote and detailed price estimates.

• Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure competitive pricing.

• Collaborate with management and team members to ensure estimates are aligned with the customer and business requirements.

• Provide technical advice and support to the sales and production teams.

• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.

• Ensure all estimates comply with industry regulations and company policies.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of estimating experience within the windows and doors industry

• Strong communication and analytical skills with attention to detail

• Ability to work to tight deadlines and be organised.

• Ability to interpret architectural plans and technical drawings

• Knowledge and experience with the National Construction Code and Australian Standards relating to windows and doors

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
