The Cyber and Critical Technology Intelligence Centre, led by ONI, was established in 2022 reflecting the increasing importance of cyber and critical technologies across national security, economies and societies. It enables the NIC to better harness opportunities offered by emerging technologies and provides government with warning of the threats and opportunities in these areas — to build the nation’s resilience to evolving threats.
The RoleThe Divisional Coordinator reports directly to the Division Head, working collaboratively with the Executive Assistant (EA), to provide lead corporate support functions across the Division. The role needs to be responsive to breaking events and manage a broad portfolio of outreach, budgets, staffing, travel and cross-government liaison.
As a Divisional Coordinator, you will:
- Managing SES workflows and ensuring priorities and timeframes are met.
- Working closely with the executive teams to the Director-General and Deputy Directors-General, support alignment of daily and forward divisional priorities and facilitate effective use of seniors’ time.
- Coordinate and prepare meetings, minutes, and papers.
- Support the drafting of written communications and managing documents and databases utilising a variety of Microsoft programs, corporate systems and electronic filing systems.
- Coordinate travel programs arrangements (assisted by the ONI’s Business Support Unit) including preparing travel programs and agendas, bookings and expense acquittals.
- Research and analyse documents and data and responding to general enquiries.
- Build, maintain and strengthen relationships internal and external to the division, obtaining cooperation and assistance to achieve outcomes
- Work closely with Branch Heads on New Starters and manage all logistical arrangements for onboarding.
- Coordinate Divisional HR requirements, including staffing projections, performance management cycles and recruitment processes.
- Monitor and coordinate governance and budget reporting, working closely with Branch Heads and coordinate responses to CFOrelevant areas.
