Your New Opportunity:

Do you have a passion for environmental sustainability and want to make a real difference? We’re looking for an enthusiastic Environment Advisor to join our South Australian team and support our recycling, waste, resource recovery, and quarrying operations across the state.

This is your chance to play a key role in building a cleaner, more sustainable future—working on diverse projects from soil remediation and waste classification to environmental monitoring and audits. You’ll be the go-to person for practical environmental advice, helping ensure we not only meet compliance standards, but set the bar for best practice.

You’ll collaborate with a variety of teams, travel across sites, and get hands-on with projects that matter. If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to create real environmental impact, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance to ensure environmental compliance across multiple sites, in line with EPA licence conditions and applicable legislation.

  • Develop and implement site-specific environmental management plans and monitoring programs.

  • Manage the classification, treatment, and disposal of contaminated waste soils in accordance with relevant regulatory guidelines.

  • Coordinate environmental auditing, inspections, and reporting to maintain high standards of compliance.

  • Monitor and manage groundwater, surface water, dust, landfill gas, and leachate across operational sites.

  • Assist in capital works planning and support construction-related environmental approvals and compliance.

  • Maintain thorough documentation and records to support site-based ISO 14001 accreditation.

  • Contribute to the development of internal quality assurance frameworks and improvement initiatives.

About You:

  • A degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar advisory or environmental compliance role.

  • Strong knowledge of relevant South Australian and national environmental legislation and waste management guidelines.

  • Proven experience in conducting environmental assessments, audits, and reporting.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects across different sites with attention to detail and effective time management.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage operational teams.

  • Experience working in industries such as waste, construction, civil works, or environmental consulting will be highly regarded.
