Enterprise Business Development Manager

The Enterprise Business Development Manager is a newly created role that will shape and contribute to the further growth of our operations across Australia. We are a leading systems integrator that designs, installs, and services electronic security, cybersecurity, fire and life safety, building automation, and audio-visual systems for enterprise customers, now looking for a driven and enthusiastic Business Development Manager to join our innovative team and shape the future of security operations and control room technology. What You’ll Do: Drive new business development and sales performance across Australia.Develop and execute go-to-market strategies targeting key verticals and high-potential projects including targeting specifically command and control / security operation control room solutions Engage prospects with creative, value-driven proposals and solutions.Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to proposal, pitch, and close.Work closely with design, consulting, and delivery teams to ensure smooth project execution.Represent Convergint/POMT at trade shows, digital events, and industry seminars.Lead efforts in estimating, quoting, and responding to tenders and RFPs. What You Bring: Proven success (5+ years) in business development within security, IT, and control room environments.Experience in electronic, IT, communications, AV, building automation, or security systems industries is preferred. A strong network of vendor and industry relationships is desirable.Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsConfident working autonomously and collaboratively within a high-performing sales team.Solid commercial acumen with a focus on profitable growth. Nice to Have: Experience working with end users in corporate or enterprise environments.A relevant degree or higher education qualification.Knowledge of workplace technologies and AV solutions.Understanding of integrated system solutions in control rooms or security operations.
