The role:

Pre-Uni New College Gosford is offering great job opportunities to responsible, passionate and qualified teachers/tutors.

We are hiring for teachers/tutors to work casually and teach our English, Writing, Maths, and Thinking skills. Proposed hours of work are flexible between 3-12 hours per week (regular class times each week except school holidays). 

The ideal candidate would:

• Enjoy working with children (Year 2-6).

• Display outstanding character with consistency and punctuality

• Have great communication skills.

• Have availability after 4pm for one or more days Monday to Friday and  Saturday (9am to 5pm).

• Have previous tutoring experience is essential for Teachers position (at least 3years or above) and Tutors position (regarded)

• Have advanced academic skills especially English, Maths and Thinking skills

• Have knowledge and strategy to teach students about Opportunity class placement test and Selective High School placement test

• Have ability to mark and feedback to students about English academic writing

• Preparing for lessons.

• Include your availability on your resume

• Have a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) certification

• Have right to work in Australia
