Engineering Technologist

As an Engineering Technologist at S4 Constructions, you will assess and refine engineering methods, conduct structural analysis, and prepare cost-effective solutions for construction projects. You'll oversee inspections, monitor project progress, manage variations, and ensure compliance with budget and standards. Expertise in ICF technology and concrete flooring, along with strong stakeholder communication, is essential.

Benefits

Salary range: $75,000 to $85,000 per Annum + Superannuation

Task & responsibilities

• Preparing pre-construction report, interpreting and illustrating existing engineering strategies, and propose feasible construction methods to determine project materials and equipment. 
• Analyzing existing structure for both static and dynamic loads, research and find out better solutions to improve structural performance and avoid structural failures. 
• Preparing cost estimates for construction materials, labor and equipment regarding to engineering work. 
• Carrying out inspections of damage or failed structures and provide solutions for repair or remediation of damage and relative cost plan. 
• Monitoring project progress and report defects and inadequacies of existing construction techniques to project manager/director on a regular basis. 
• Overseeing and recording all project variations during construction, liaise with stakeholders to ensure all variations are acceptable, legally and within our project budget. 
• Knowledge or experience in novel ICF based Technology and power floating concrete flooring. 
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and be committed to team approach and outcomes.

Qualification & experience

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Either 3 years Degree or 4 years degree). 
• A minimum one year experience is mandatory in construction industry.
