Engineering Manager, Mechanical

NOJA Power designs, manufactures and supplies medium voltage switchgear products to over 100 countries globally.  The Group operates from our manufacturing campus and global headquarters in Murarrie, Brisbane with Factory and Offices in Brazil, Canada, UK, USA, China and Vietnam.

 About the Role:

We are seeking applications for the position of Engineering Manager, Mechanical for our global headquarters and manufacturing campus in Murarrie, Brisbane.  You’ll be part of a supportive team that will allow you to grow and achieve your own personal goals in the team.  This role is a full time position Monday to Friday.

Reporting to the Engineering Director your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

 ·         Management of engineers and technical staff to achieve objectives.

·         Industrialisation of new product from R&D into mass production.

·         Development and improvement of NOJA Power production line systems.

·         Manage product design changes for released product.

 What You’ll bring:

 ·         Engineering Qualifications; undergraduate degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics or similar field

·         Minimum 10 years practical engineering experience.

·         Experience in:

·         Managing a diverse team of engineers and technicians

·         Mechanical design of products for mass manufacture

·         Mechanical design of production line jigs and fixtures

·         Manufacturing environment – an understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts and application in a production environment

·         Teamwork and communication skills
