DRD Recruitment are looking to support our client based in Forrestdale in the Pool Industry! The role is ideal for an emerging Safety and/or People & Culture Officer. The role has become available due to the continued growth and will work closely with 20 staff in a corporate environment.
The role is ideally for Full-time, but available for Part-Time with a minimum of 25 hours/week. Suitable candidates may include recent HR Graduates or Cert IV in HSE. The client is looking for self-starters, proactive, problem solvers, individuals who can identify opportunities for improvement.
Key Responsibilities are:
- Coordinate the end-to-end on boarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into the company.
- Prepare and coordinate new hire documentation, Inductions, IT setup, and compliance requirements.
- Conduct orientation sessions and set up ongoing support systems for new employees.
- Assist in planning and executing employee engagement initiatives, such as recognition programs, wellness activities, training and company events.
- Monitor employee satisfaction and gather feedback through engagement surveys and check-ins.
- Support diversity, inclusion, and well-being initiatives within the organization.
- Assist in internal communication efforts, such as newsletters and company updates.
- Coordinate ongoing training and safety protocol requirements
- Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and compliance documentation.
- Assist Department managers with HR administration, including leave management, performance tracking, and internal communications.
- Maintain live company document library and resources
