Overview

The role of the eMarketing Specialist is to Analyse, Design, Develop & Maintain systems that drive document & content distribution Digital channels in an accurate, timely and economical manner.

Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities

Strategic Focus

  • Achieve customer service objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews, preparing, and completing action plans, implementing into production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards, resolving problematic situations, and determining system improvements.
  • Innovate & implement techniques to streamline & improve productivity.

Operational Management

  • Write, test and maintain code to ensure the output meets the business requirements.
  • Involved in the development and maintenance of databases.
  • Identify and implement appropriate quality controls, training, and process improvements.
  • Work closely with the IT, Client Services and Production teams to ensure
  • timely and accurate delivery of proofs to the client for approval
  • Ensure all deadlines are achieved with financial considerations in mind
  • Informing your manager immediately where deadlines cannot be met
  • Ensure quality procedures, standards & work instructions are always followed

People Leadership

  • Foster a collaborative environment within the development team, ensuring alignment with business goals and effective communication of priorities.

Governance and Risk

  • All incidences of non-conformance are to be reported to your manager immediately
  • Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements as it relates to the system maintenance and content distribution
  • Support MUFG assurance programs that deliver effective risk management and compliance practices

Experience & Personal Attributes

  • Experience with the Quadient Inspire Platform, specifically Inspire Designer, Automation (or Scaler), Inspire Content Manager
  • Previous experience within CCM Development
  • Experience with email platforms such as Vision6 (HTML / CSS)
  • Knowledge of business and industry-specific terminology.
  • Business case analysis, quality assurance concepts and procedures.
  • A good understanding of database architecture, integration issues, third party reporting and data extraction tools.
  • Keeping abreast with technology to make the organization operate efficiently by developing, testing and implementing new IT solutions.
  • Experience with Document Composition tools for output to Print, Email, SMS & Web (HTML5).
  • Background in Email / Marketing / Campaigns.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Knowledge of structured programming methodology, data analysis and design skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate to staff across all levels within the organization.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to respond to users/business requirements and meet deadlines.
  • Availability to provide after-hours support as required.
  • Broad knowledge of financial services/ banking/ accounting applications.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to balance competing priorities to deliver timely outcomes.
  • Must have a strong team focus and be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
