About the role

This Electrician role would suit someone who is self-motivated and enjoys engaging with people to make a real impact with ensuring their safety.

As an Electrician in your Home Safe Solutions Team, you will be responsible for performing electrical safety inspections, identifying potential hazards, and implementing necessary solutions. Your expertise will help ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

As part of this role, you will provide back up for our Technical Supervisor when they are on leave, supporting our HSS Team and signing off electrical certifications completed by the team.

Skills & Experience

  • Hold a valid Open Driver’s Licence

  • Have a State Electrical Licence

  • Able to provide and maintain police clearance

  • Working with Children Check (as required)

  • Professional presentation and pride in appearance

  • Good communication skills, you'll be visiting real estate offices daily

  • The ability to work autonomously but happy to be collaborative as part of a wider team

  • Demonstrated experience as an Electrician.

  • Knowledge of materials, methods and the tools involved in installation, maintenance and repair of the smoke alarm system would be an advantage.

  • Demonstrated experience using smoke detector sensitivity procedures would be an advantage.

  • Knowledge of applicable building codes and regulations.

  • Able to work in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with exceptional time management skills

  • Proven experience troubleshooting and working towards solutions.
