The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Switchboard Builder to join our dynamic team in Yatala. This role involves the assembly, wiring, and testing of electrical switchboards and control panels, contributing directly to our high standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.

• Assemble and wire control panels, distribution boards, and main switchboards (MSBs).

• Perform control wiring, panel wiring, bus bar fabrication, and metalwork.

• Conduct testing and quality assurance on completed assemblies.

• Occasionally participate in on-site installations and commissioning of electrical systems local to SE QLD.

• Ensure all work adheres to company procedures, WHS requirements, and HDC's reputation for Quality.

About You:

• Proven experience in switchboard building, panel wiring, or related electrical assembly.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

• Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings and technical documentation.

• Reliable transport to and from work.

• QLD Electrical Fitter License

• White Card and CPR/LVR certification.

• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

• Ability to work independently and liaise effectively with managers and supervisors.
