EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR
Mary MacKillop Catholic Community Primary School is a co-educational primary school, catering for students from Kindergarten to Year 6 with an enrolment of 480. The school enjoys a strong connection with the Mary MacKillop parish, fostering a welcoming and inclusive community focused on pastoral care and the acceptance of all cultural and social backgrounds.
The St Joseph Centre is an integral part of the school, catering to the additional needs of various students.
Mary MacKilop continues to consolidate its Cooperative Learning philosophy, with a strong focus on integrating play-based, inquiry learning, and Cooperative Learning approaches in the Early Childhood setting.
We are currently seeking a passionate, dedicated, and qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our friendly and professional Kindy team.
This is a part-time position, commencing Term 2 2025, 28th April.
Teaching load is 3 full days of teaching on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and then DOTT allocation on the 4th day (alternate Tuesdays).

Commitment to supporting the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education. Passionate and highly motivated, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and collaborative planning. Demonstrates professionalism, strong interpersonal, and excellent organisational skills, with the ability to engage with all members of the school community. Ability to integrate play-based, inquiry learning, and Cooperative Learning approaches in an Early Childhood setting. In-depth knowledge of early childhood pedagogy, the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), and the National Quality Standard (NQS). Understanding the importance of differentiation, with the ability to create teaching and learning programs that cater to diverse student needs, including students with disabilities. Excellent classroom management and organisational capabilities. Demonstrated willingness to take on additional responsibilities and participate in extra-curricular activities. Commitment to personal and professional growth through active involvement in Professional Learning Communities and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications Required
The successful applicant will be required to:
Appropriate Early Childhood Education qualification. Undergo Mandatory Reporting Training. Acquire and/or maintain relevant Accreditation requirements to work in a Catholic School.
