  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate educational activities and programs based on the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG).
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to support a collaborative and inclusive learning community.
  • Observe, assess, and document children's learning and development to inform individualized planning and ongoing improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and quality standards in early childhood education and care.

  • Are qualified and experienced and naturally talented!
  • Value strong and collaborative relationships with families and team members
  • Skilled at creating a learning "vibe" in a classroom that is unhurried, peaceful and full of good energy
  • A great communicator, able to chat openly and confidently with families
  • Fired up by creating learning environments that are interesting, aesthetically engaging, with the primary focus on the love of learning
  • Able to manage the operational side of the role well, and competent in documenting children's progress.
  • Mentor colleagues and share what makes you great!
  • If you're the person of our dreams there's a good chance you'll have:
  • A completed Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or an equivalent approved ACECQA early childhood teaching qualification (ECT)
  • Current CPR and First Aid qualifications, including asthma and anaphylaxis
  • Hold the relevant Working With Children Check (Blue Card)
  • Completed and current Child Protection Training
  • Be knowledgeable about regulations, the QLD Kindergarten Learning Guidelines, National Quality Standard and the Early Years Learning Framework
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Early Childhood Teacher position.
