Early Childhood Educator - Diploma / Certificate III

Currans Hill Childcare Centre are looking for exceptionally passionate and enthusiastic Diploma/Certificate III Educator to join our team of dedicated professionals at our 59-place centre in Currans Hill.

The primary purpose of this position is to provide an exceptional level of child care support with your day to day responsibilities including:

• Developing, planning and implementing a quality program that reflects the Early Years Learning Framework
• Monitoring and documenting children's progress & individual children's portfolios
• Mentoring and guiding less experienced staff within the Centre
• Developing open communication channels with staff, children and families of the Centre
• Contributing to the effective operation of the workplace by supporting colleagues, sharing ideas and information and working collaboratively in our team.
• Complying with the Centres' policies and procedures along with licensing, legislation & regulations.

Your passion and love for children and childcare, as well as your friendly, creative and enthusiastic nature, are all key attributes for the role. The successful candidate will ideally have:

• A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Education & Care
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role within Early Childhood
• A creative and pro-active team player
• Current Working With Children Check
• Hold a current First Aid, Asthma, Anaphylaxis Certificate (or willing to obtain)
• Excellent understanding of the EYLF and NQF
• Ability to work collaboratively with and support other staff
• Great written and verbal communication skills
