Our client is a residential builder, specialising in Residential Townhome developments.
Due to their continued success and growth they are looking to add an Drafting Manager as key member to their leadership team.
The Role:
Reporting to and working alongside the operations manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Lead and manage a team, including Development/Masters & Production drafting team.
- Manage team workflow & amend to suit company's forecast requirements.
- Provide construction solutions, update & maintain design intent and buildability of all projects
- Facilitate the continuous improvement of systems & processes
- Assist the management team in achieving project milestones and staying within budget constraints.
- Maintain an awareness of all matters relevant to the design and production of the projects.
About you:
To be a successful in this role as a Drafting manager:
- Proficiency in ArchiCAD
- Previous experience in a similar role (minimum 2 years).
- Excellent time management skills and ability to manage scheduling
- Must have medium density / townhome experience
- Strong knowledge of planning regulations and Rescode
- Passion for design & leading a team.
