Dispensary Technician / Packing

About the Role:

This role presents an opportunity for you to make a meaningful impact on the health and wellbeing of our community, with a focus on dispensing and packing medications for nursing homes. Reporting directly to the Pharmacy Owner and collaborating closely with Pharmacists, Dispense Technicians, the Retail Manager, and Pharmacy Assistants, your key responsibilities will include:

• Address and solve problems relating to the packing of medications efficiently and effectively.

• Upkeeping of patient's records.

• Collaborate with Technicians and Pharmacy Assistants to deliver excellent customer service.

• Deliver health promotion programs as required.

• Ensure that all pharmacy operations are conducted in accordance with pharmacy policies and procedures, legal requirements, and Quality Care Pharmacy Standards.

• Full Time Monday - Friday

About you:

You have demonstrated experience in building and maintaining relationships with both internal team members and external stakeholders. You are passionate about providing innovative customer experiences and thrive on fostering a culture of customer service excellence.

• Experience in aged care services, packing, hospital dispensing. (desirable).

• A positive disposition and an ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary health care team.

• Exceptional communication skills with customers and colleagues.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment. 

• Demonstrate competent computer literacy skills.
