Design Team Member
(graphic design & photography coordination)
We are an established Homewares company offering an impressive and extensive range of products to retailers across Australia and New Zealand.
We are looking for an all-rounder to join our creative team with a “can do” attitude.
Reporting to our Creative Director, this role will primarily focus on graphic design, photography coordination and packaging design however you will also be responsible for helping with general design tasks.
A willingness to be involved in the overall creative team tasks will be highly regarded.
Within this role you will be able to take instruction from the Creative Director and complete tasks in a timely manner.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
· Provide graphic support for Homeware Products - primarily Bed Linen.
· Produce presentation lookbooks for new seasons ranges.
· Coordinate outsourced product photography.
· Edit images in Photoshop or Lightroom – as required.
· Shoot in-house product images – if required.
· Assist with Packaging Artwork for homeware products.
· Assist with Social Media Content and website updates.
· Create marketing mood boards and presentations as required.
· Assist with showroom styling and set up along with all design team members.
· Any other design team related tasks as required.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
· Well-developed Adobe Suite skills, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign & Lightroom.
· Strong image editing skill.
· Minimum of 1 year experience in graphic design or photography (post graduate may be considered).
· Tertiary level in design completed.
· Ability to work at a fast pace.
· Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
· Excellent time management skills.
· Attention to detail.
· Ability to communicate clearly via email with off-shore suppliers.
· Previous experience in Homewares Industry an advantage.
· Willingness to take on tasks as required by the Creative Director.
· Current drivers License a must.
· Must be a Permanent Resident of Australia or Citizen.
