Dental Assistant/Receptionist

At Ashgrove West Dental we know that fabulous Dental Assistants ensure our patients enjoy a high quality, stress free dental experience. 

We are looking for a Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our ever growing team.

Our new team mate must:

• Be able to show initiative 

• Be self motivated and willing to apply themselves to learning a new role

• Be supportive and willing to help out in a big team

• Be available for shifts Monday-Saturday

• Ideally looking for experience in dental assisting/reception. However, we are happy to accommodate training if need be.

A bit about the role: 

• Dental Assistant/Receptionist

• Initial probationary period 

• Patient Care:

  Assisting dentists and hygienists with procedures, preparing patients for treatments, and educating patients on oral health and post-treatment care. 

  Clinical Support:

  Setting up and maintaining the dental office, sterilizing and organizing instruments, and preparing dental materials for use. 

  Administrative Tasks:

  Scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling billing and insurance matters. 

  Infection Control:

  Maintaining strict hygiene standards to prevent the spread of infections, including proper sterilization of instruments and equipment. 

  Radiography:

  Taking and processing X-rays, as well as operating digital imaging equipment.

• Ashgrove West Dental has been a part of the Ashgrove community for over 70yrs

• Located 13 mins from the Brisbane CBD, we are close to public transport and have parking available on site

• Our dynamic team consists of 9 Dentists and 8 Dental Assistants working across 6 days of the week (Monday-Saturday).

• As a General Dental Practice our dentists are qualified to provide treatment in a wide range of areas including- Restorative Dental, Pediatric Dental, Implant Dentistry, Root Canal Treatment, Crown and Bridge etc
