Working full time, the candidate must be able to handle all facets of food preparation and kitchen management. The ideal candidate will be expected to perform the following dutiesthat include but are not limited to:

Prepare and cook high-quality Middle Eastern dishes, including falafel, shawarma,hummus, and other traditional specialties, for daily consumption.

Ensure food is prepared and presented to the highest standard and Work closely with the Chef, and Head Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Assist Chef, and Head Chef with menu planning by giving feedback and suggesting innovative ideas for newdishes.

Ensure food freshness, proper storage, and maintenance of appropriate product levels.

Maintain the cool room’s temperature and uphold the highest hygiene standards.

Minimize waste and use resources efficiently.

Accommodate special dietary requirements and customize dishes as per clientrequests.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen according to health and safetyguidelines.

Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Support the Head Chef in maintaining efficiency and consistency during service.

Manage food inventory and inspect the quantity and quality of received products.

Qualification & experience

Must have at least a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery ond  Diploma of Hospitality Management.

Proven experience as a chef/cook (minimum 1 year preferred).

Strong knowledge of Middle Eastern cuisine and cooking techniques.

Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Excellent attention to detail and high standards for food preparation and presentation.

A positive attitude and a passion for culinary excellence.
