The Company: A successful and highly regarded construction contractor has partnered with Design & Build to source a Contracts Administrator. This role involves managing a portfolio of commercial projects, including fit-outs, new builds, and refurbishments projects across Perth, with project values up to $20 million.
They're renown for their integrity in all areas of operation, excellence in workmanship and ensuring clients’ needs are a priority. Over the last couple of year's they have experienced steady growth and have a dynamic and high performing team.
The Role:
As a Contracts Administrator, you will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure the successful running of projects.
- Procurement of subcontractors and supplies
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions with subcontractors
- Reporting directly into the project manager
- Coordinate the review and timely approval of payment claims submitted by subcontractors
- Review and undertake the assessment of subcontractor variations in conjunction with the construction team
- Actively build strong relationships with key stakeholders
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have: - 2+ Years Contracts Administration experience in Commercial Construction
- Tier 2 or 3 builder experience would be highly regarded
- Strong organisational skills and excellent time management
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple projects
- Experience with Procore (preferred)
- Experience with Coins (preferred)
- Strong contractual knowledge;
- Have good time management skills
- Communication, organisation and negotiation skills.
