With an in-house customs and logistics team this household name controls the import and clearance processes for a broad range of commodities.
The Position
You will support the experienced customs specialists by:
- Providing customs data entry support
- Checking import documentation
- Updating shipment files and reporting any irregularities
- Liaising with clients and carriers regarding arrival schedules
- Assisting classifiers and customs brokers with entry preparation
The Requirements
To be considered for this role you must have local customs or import freight forwarding experience plus:
- Accurate and fast data entry skills
- Knowledge of commercial documentation, shipping terms and Customs procedures
- High attention to detail
- Commitment to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and corporate presentation
