The opportunity

Physio To You is seeking experienced Community Occupational Therapists to join our growing team in Brisbane, Gold Coast & Sunshine Coast. These are contractor roles offering flexible working arrangements to support your work-life balance.

Physio to You is looking for therapists for the following regions;

  • Brisbane - we are looking for an ongoing therapist who can work a minimum of 1-2 full days. Clients are located within 30 minutes of Brisbane CBD.  

  • Gold Coast - we are looking for a ongoing therapist who may have availability to see patients a minimum of one day or 2 half days per week.

  • Sunshine Coast - we are looking for a ongoing therapist who may have availability to see patients a minimum of one day or 2 half days per week.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive in home occupational therapy assessments and develop individualised treatment plans for clients in their homes and community settings

  • Implement evidence-based interventions to improve clients' independence, safety and quality of life

  • Collaborate with clients, their families and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic, person-centred care

  • Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of Physio To You's services

  • Maintain accurate electronic records and report writing in line with professional and organisational requirements

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification

  • Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a community-based or home-based setting

  • Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills to address complex client needs

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds

  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records and client management systems

  • Flexible and adaptable approach to working in a community-based environment

  • A current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
