Your impact
In your role as a Coastal Engineer your technical skills in coastal engineering and processes will be of key importance. You will exercise sound judgement and initiative while undertaking both your project responsibilities and design tasks. You will be capable of developing, designing, and facilitating the documentation of coastal engineering and modelling solutions under guidance from Associates or Principals, and manages the delivery of small and medium sized projects. You will contribute to the project management and delivery of a portfolio of coastal engineering and modelling projects. Your focus will be in the areas of coastal design, engaging with senior engineers and technical leaders, supporting junior members of the team, delivering outputs and packages for multidisciplinary projects. You will be expected to work collaboratively with other members of the Transport and wider Jacobs team across multiple disciplines, including mentoring of less experienced staff, providing inputs to tender bids and marketing to external and internal clients. You will integrate into the Maritime team, supporting the team initiatives and being fully inclusive of team members in other geographies.
