Chef/Catering Manager - Aged Care
We are currently seeking an experienced Catering Manager to lead the catering team in providing exceptional meal services to residents within a values driven NFP aged care provider in Melbourne.
About the role:
- Responsible for overseeing key compliance activities related to food safety, workplace health and safety, and quality standards.
- Deliver exceptional food services to residents while ensuring a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
- Manage stock control and kitchen supplies.
- Oversee dietary management to ensure meals meet residents’ needs and requirements.
- Manage food and kitchen costs, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to kitchen staff, ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
- Excellent rates based on experienced + super + salary packaging
Requirements: - Previous experience as a Catering Manager or Chef in Aged Care settings is essential.
- Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualifications.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety practices in line with aged care standards.
- Ability to work a multidisciplinary team within a fast-paced environment.
