Location: The Right Candidate will be employed as a Chef in our Childcare Group and will work accross multiple associated entity centres (Burpengary, The Gap and Morayfield)

Task & responsibilities

•    Prepare, cook and present high-quality meals in line with Australian Dietary Guidelines for children aged 0–5 years

•    Develop and refine nutritionally balanced menus and recipes suitable for early learning environments, including allergy-aware and culturally inclusive options

•    Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene and HACCP requirements, including Safe Food Pro systems

•    Manage food preparation workflows, ordering, stock rotation and waste minimisation

•    Collaborate with educators and centre leadership to support positive mealtime experiences for children

Additional Value-Add Responsibilities

•    Contribute to food costing and spend analysis across multiple centres

•    Use Microsoft Power BI or related tools to analyse ingredient costs, menu efficiency and food spend per child

•    Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support budgeting, waste reduction and menu optimisation

Qualification & experience

• Minimum 1 year of full-time experience as a qualified Chef.
• Certificate III, IV in Commercial Cookery as well as Diploma of Hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of food allergies, nutrition standards, and safe food handling.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage high-volume meal preparation efficiently.
• Experience in early education or childcare food services is highly regarded.
