The roles

Clublinks Management has been appointed to manage and operate the state-of-the-art Northcote Aquatic and Recreation Centre (NARC) on behalf of the City of Darebin.

NARC opened its doors in 2023, this fully accessible venue consists of indoor and outdoor pools, aquatic play spaces, gym and group fitness studios, health suites, café, reformer pilates studio, change rooms and outdoor relaxation areas.

We're on the lookout for an energetic and passionate Cook to lead our breakfast service our state-of-the-art kitchen at the Northcote Aquatic & Recreation Centre. Your role goes beyond creating delicious meals, you'll also be pivotal in maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting café environment for our visitors and members.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation and execution of menu items

  • Collaborating with the Food and Beverage Manager to maintain high-quality service and menu offerings

  • Ensuring a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen space

  • Adhering to food safety standards and guidelines

About you

You will: 

  • Nail our values

  • Previous experience in high-volume café/ breakfast / restaurant kitchens

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, positive work ethic

  • Experience in effectively maintaining and managing the space

  • Strong organisational skills, able to prioritise in a fast-paced environment

  • Must be able to work unsupervised and be an excellent team player

  • Experience with breakfast cuisine / Salads / Wraps

  • Relevant industry qualifications based upon the role

  • Current National Police check, Working with Children check and First Aid qualifications
