Casual Barista/Allrounder

We are a café in Merewether looking for a fast working, fun and vibrant barista to join a great team and maintain a high standard of customer service throughout our restaurant. A friendly manner is highly valued as we have many repeat customers daily that mean so much to us.

Successful candidates will have a strong focus on customer service and teamwork, is adaptable, reliable, responsible, clean and presentable, takes initiative with a strong understanding of grinder adjustments, dosing & distribution and basic food safety standards.

This is a relatively cruisy job but we do get busy at times so an ability to switch to second gear is vital.

Daily duties would be as follows:

• Standard café operations including opening and closing procedures, taking orders using POS system, delivering table service and takeaways, maintaining general cleanliness of establishment and equipment, making various fresh beverages, serving cakes, taking payments and counting the till.
• Managing stock levels and assisting with ordering.
• Completing daily reports.

RSA required.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $31.23 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week

• Evening shift
• Morning shift

Experience:

• Barista: 2 years (Required)
