The Role:

As a Buyer Services Partner Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and nurturing key accounts while developing businesses for Manheim Australia. You will manage client relationships across New South Wales, focusing on achieving specific objectives and key performance indicators to grow the Simulcast and Online Auction sales channels. This position is primarily responsible for managing all aspects associated with running site-based Auctions for Passenger and Commercial Vehicles (PCV).

This is a permanent full-time position offering a competitive salary, vehicle allowance, and commission-based structure. As Manheim’s Buyer Services Partner Manager, you will be on the road, building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders in the automotive industry. Your primary goal will be to drive revenue growth and deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and nurture relationships with buyers, seek growth opportunities, manage sales processes, and conduct buyer walkarounds.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, manage key customer accounts, and communicate competitor intelligence to the sales team.
  • Provide concierge services at auctions, manage pre-auction enquiries and conduct walkarounds with customers.
  • Proactively assess customer needs and collaborate with key stakeholders to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations
  • Develop key relationships, ensure customer service excellence, improve sales systems, and maintain up-to-date customer engagement information on IT platforms.

Skills & Experiences:

  • Experience in the Automotive industry preferably within the Dealer space, not essential
  • A strong understanding of the Auction/Remarketing operational experience.
  • Ability to build relationships
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills
  • Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Suites e.g. Word, Teams, PowerPoint, etc
  • Intermediate working knowledge of SAP, Salesforce or other CRM system would be desirable
