Attention all civil and construction sales and hire professionals.
Due to an internal promotion, a role with one of Australia's largest and leading suppliers of civil and construction hire equipment have an opening within their QLD team. This role has a great territory that spans south of the Brisbane River to Logan and across to Toowoomba.
The business is a highly respected and well know company that works within the major tier 1 and 2 civil and construction industries all over Australia.

What makes this company quite unique is that they have their own in-house engineering facility which allows them to go above and beyond for their clients by providing specialised custom solutions for any project their clients have. Their product line consists of Pipeline Testing Equipment, Shoring Equipment, Propping Equipment, Traffic Equipment, Machinery and Laser Equipment.
The Role
Covering a very generous and busy territory of Brisbane, you will work in a primarily external role where you will be out on the road visiting sites and building strong relationships with your clients. You will use your understanding of the civil and construction market as well as your day to day knowledge of how a job site works to identify the right individuals to supply solutions for their needs.
About The role
This is primarily an out on the road role which will see you visiting clients and projects each day.
Use your industry knowledge to generate new business and open up new opportunities
Engage with clients on a professional level and identify their needs and provide solutions
Grow you market share and maintain a strong presence within your territory
Monday to Friday role
Provide accurate information to the design team on any custom solutions required
Manage your key accounts and maintain a strong relationship
About You
Experience within a Business Development Managers role or and Externals Sales Rep role selling into the Civil or Construction market
Experience generating new business within industry and able to identify new opportunities
Comfortable engaging with Project Managers, Site Managers and Contractors
Ability to generate new business as well as manage key accounts
Full driver's license
Ability to work unsupervised and unmanaged
Driven to succeed and looking to join a company with career progression.

Base $95k - $105k
