About the Role

We’re seeking a passionate and proactive Business Development Manager to lead growth in our service body, canopy, and van fitout business.

You’ll be responsible for building relationships with end users, tradies, fleets, and small businesses — helping them see the value of choosing Bott before they order their next vehicle. You’ll manage the sales process from lead to delivery, work closely with our design and installation teams, and make sure every customer ends up with a fitout that works as hard as they do.

This isn’t your standard automotive sales role — it’s consultative, relationship-driven, and focused on delivering a premium product in a smarter way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and convert leads in the trade, fleet, and small business sectors

  • Engage directly with customers before vehicle purchase to influence fitout decisions

  • Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, fleet buyers, and OEM channels

  • Prepare and present quotes and proposals using our digital tools

  • Coordinate install timing, customer communication, and delivery expectations

  • Collaborate with the design and installation teams to ensure smooth handover

  • Represent Bott at industry events, expos, and customer demonstrations

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A genuine passion for automotive accessories, commercial vehicles, and helping customers find the right setup

  • Experience in BDM, sales, or account management in the vehicle accessory, automotive trade, or fleet sales space

  • An understanding of dealer networks, OEM channels, and vehicle pre-delivery processes

  • Strong relationships or a network in the automotive, trade, or fleet space

  • Confidence with quoting systems, CRMs, and coordinating moving parts

  • A self-starter mindset — you’re motivated, organised, and thrive in a fast-growing business
