The opportunityWe require a self-driven, energetic, people-person to join our small distribution team. You will help build and execute a distribution strategy across HNWs, family offices and wholesale wealth groups.A demonstrable record in wholesale capital raising (from Wholesale Wealth Advisors, FOs & HNW individuals) is highly desirable. Your goal will be to grow a robust distribution funnel and build on your existing strong relations across the target market. You will be championing access to some of the most legendary names in private markets, all through a market-leading technology play.Ideally, you should:
● be self-driven, disciplined and can work autonomously to drive outcomes;● be a real people-person, who can build rapport through a friendly and honest approach;● have a strong focus on process and record keeping;● understand private markets and have a solid understanding of compliance and regulatory risks;● be innovative, continually looking to improve and find new ways to engage;● take full accountability, define targets and audience, are data-driven, and can monitor performance; and● be proactive in contacting new leads and following up.
You should have:
● Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience;● Prior experience as a Business Development or Sales Development Representative with a demonstrable track record of achieving targets (5 years+);● Strong communication skills in-person, via phone and email;● Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills;● Strong drive and positive attitude;● Proficiency with CRM software; and● Previous experience in private markets (highly desirable)
Key responsibilities:
● Ability to initiate telephone calls with target customer segment to arrange meetings and build long-term trusted relationships;● Organise in-person or online events, including webinars, roadshows etc;● Build and manage a pipeline of interested leads and convert to sales;● Experiment and identify best practice processes for lead generation;● Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market;● Have a thorough understanding of our target customers;● Understand and articulate our business and value proposition in the private markets space;● Ability to think creatively and the confidence to execute to meet sales targets;● Highly enthusiastic, tenacious; and● An "I've got this" attitude
