About the Role
JBS Townsville currently recruiting a Boning Room Foreperson to join our Townsville Processing Facility in a full-time capacity. Reporting to the Boning Room Supervisor, you will provide leadership, coordination, management and support to our Boning Room processing team to ensure the attainment of production, quality/MSQA, Workplace Health & Safety, as well as people requirements and objectives.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading, engaging, motivating and supporting your team, including training, performance, conflict resolution and fostering a positive work environment
Supervising all aspects of the Kill Floor/Follow on and Offal Room
Ensuring compliance with all WH&S and Environmental regulations
Ensuring compliance with Quality Assurance and MSQA programmes and processes
Ensuring revenue maximisation and cost control
Ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures
Ensuring timely and accurate record keeping and information/paperwork flow
Actively participating in workplace projects

About You
Previous leadership experience in a similar food manufacturing/processing environment
Demonstrated commitment to meeting all requirements in relation to food safety, people safety and maintenance and enhancement of brand integrity
High level of integrity and a professional work attitude
Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Sound technical knowledge of meat processing including product flow and manning requirements
Proven leadership and supervisory capabilities
Highly developed time management skills including prioritising and multi-tasking
