The Role:
- Perform MIG welding in product fabrication
- Fabrication tasks may include but not limited to Laser/Plasma Cutting, mechanical fitting, spray painting, and other fabrication tasks
- Read and interpret shop drawings
- Maintain a strong safety focus and a "can-do" attitude
- Be flexible to work overtime, including some weekends when required
What You Need:
- Cert III in Engineering – Fabrication (Boilermaking/Welding)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in heavy industry manufacturing
- Forklift Licence (desirable) + Driver’s Licence
- EWP & Work at Heights certification
- Overhead Crane experience with ability to work unsupervised (Essential)
- Laser/Plasma Cutting experience (an advantage but not essential)
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving ability
- Mechanical aptitude
