As baker, you will work with the Head Baker and Head Pastry chef to assist in the preparation and baking of sourdough bread, pastries and croissants.
Qualifications & experience
- 2 years+ experience in bakery production including mixing and baking and be prepared to work to a high standard
- A strong understanding of bread production and sourdough breads
- Excellent team worker with strong communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent food hygiene standards
Tasks & responsibilities
- Assisting in the production and prep for the next day ahead
- Maintaining freshness and stock level of goods
- Upholding cleanliness of your section
- Following production schedules and procedures
- Preparation and rotation of ingredients for daily production
- Other general duties as required such as cleaning
- The work involve early morning starts and availability to work a seven days rotating roster.
