Automotive Technician (Light Vehicle Mechanic)

Bob Watson Service Centre is a thriving, independent workshop in the vibrant inner city suburb of Hawthorn East. We service all makes and models, predominantly European vehicles.

We are looking for a Qualified Motor Mechanic. This is a full-time position. 

The successful applicant must have excellent mechanical diagnostic and automotive skills as well as formal trade qualifications (equivalent to Certificate 3 in Automotive). You must have excellent communication skills and an ability to work unsupervised in a team environment. The successful applicant will have at least 2 years’ experience as a motor mechanic. 

Your duties will include carrying out servicing and repairs on all makes and models as well as performing diagnostics using a range of technologies.
