Automotive Spray Painter

About the role

We are seeking an Automotive Spray Painter to join the team at Melbourne Truck Bodies & Repairs in Moorabbin. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of our vehicle body repair business.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare and paint vehicle panels, frames and parts to a high standard

• Carefully apply paint colours and finishes to match original specifications

• Undertake sanding, masking and other surface preparation work

• Perform quality checks and touch-ups to ensure results

• Maintain a clean and organised work area

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification in automotive spray painting or equivalent experience

• Proven experience in spray painting

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to achieve high-quality finishes

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Punctual and the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary starts from $38.00 p/hr and can be negotiated based on experience
