A remarkable opportunity is available for an experienced spinal scrub scout to fill the ANUM role within a growing spinal team at a private hospital in Melbourne. This is a permanent full-time position.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) role consists of clinical aptitude, dynamic planning, and supportive leadership to enable the nursing team to provide a high level of quality service and care to the patients.
You will be:
- Mentoring and leading a dedicated team of nurses and clinical support staff within a supportive leadership environment;
- Bringing extensive Orthopaedic theatre experience along with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills;
- Managing competing priorities and working well in a busy theatre complex;
- Working on a 7-day rotating roster - Monday to Saturday.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA;
- At least 3 years of clinical experience;
- Experience in navigated spinal surgery desired;
- Flexibility to be available on weekends, weekdays, and evenings;
- Clinical leadership experience or postgraduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded.

REMUNERATION The hourly rate, based on experience level and qualifications, is $55.92- $57.76 + superannuation, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
