The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is recruiting for a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill the role of a Parliamentary Executive Level 1 Assistant Director, Security Delivery and Capability, within the Security Operations Support Section, Security Operations Branch.
The Assistant Director, Security Delivery and Capability will play a key role in the design, coordination and delivery of Security Operations Branch activities associated with recruitment, training and workforce development. The position holder will be required to demonstrate sound judgement and the ability to establish and enhance stakeholder relationships to deliver innovative initiatives, cultivating a highly professionalised customer focused security culture.
In this role you will manage a team to build and deliver a comprehensive security capability program to support the needs of Australian Parliament House. This program will include all aspects of recruitment, training and onboarding of security personnel. It will also include ensuring that a fit for purpose ongoing compliance, accreditation and development strategy is formulated and delivered across the Branch to ensure that DPS maintains a highly professionalised security workforce.
As the Assistant Director, Security Delivery and Capability you will also be required to work across teams to support and facilitate other aspects of the Security Operations Support Section and the Security Operations Branch.
