Artisan Pastry Cook

Opened in March 2023, our business is growing fast and we are on the hunt for an experienced Artisan Pastry cook.
At Franquette, we make everything from scratch. Therefore we are looking for someone that can understand and applicate our process. Experience with mixing, hand shaping and baking is necessary for this role.
We are offering a full-time position that includes early morning starts and weekend shifts (penalty rates applicable).
You will be part of a skilled team of professional bakers, chefs and baristas.
List of requirements :
- Relevant qualifications in baking, mixing, laminating.
- Experience as an Artisan Baker required (minimum 2 years)
- Availability for night and weekend shifts
- previous work references required
- Maintaining production procedures and ensuring all orders are done on time
- Sound knowledge of all aspects of food safety and hygiene
- Great communication and self-management skills
- Experience with team work
- Open-mindedness and flexibility
