About the opportunity:

We are seeking a career oriented professional with drive, initiative and passion to join Tradeflex’s Operations team.

You will be required to meet with your team members after business hours, Monday to Friday.

You will be actively supported by dedicated office staff but will operate in a largely independent manner and take the driving seat and manage the cleaning requirements of schools in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne.

Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a strong relationships with school representatives whilst also ensuring that cleaning services are provided to the highest standards in accordance with the requirements of the contract and our Quality Management System.

  • Proactively seek out feedback from key stakeholders (Principals and Business Managers) and demonstrate the value Tradeflex brings to their business
  • Ensure full compliance of contract requirements
  • Manage budgets and ensure all expenses are within budget
  • Conduct and ensure overall compliance of cleaning audits
  • Proactively identify and implement efficiencies throughout the region
  • Ensure all performance management is successfully executed
  • Recruit, train, onboard and provide ongoing coaching to ensure staff are fully competent
  • Instilling all safety practices and compliance with OH&S legislation
  • Ensuring compliance with KRONOS time and attendance system is met within company standards
  • Rostering of up to 50+ cleaners

About you:

  • Previous experience and demonstrable success in a management role
  • Strong understanding of commercial cleaning
  • Ability to work flexible hours - you will be required to visit your team after hours
  • High level of administrative skills
  • Demonstrated and proficient use of computers including Microsoft Excel
  • Multi-site experience (educational experience highly regarded)
  • Success in instilling and driving compliance to Service Level Agreements
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Exceptional influencing skills
  • It is essential to live close to the Outer Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
