Apprentice Refrigeration/HVAC Technician

  The Opportunity   In this role, you will commence or continue your Refrigeration/HVAC Apprenticeship, working with highly skilled technicians to complete preventative & reactive maintenance across a cluster of Coles sites.       This apprenticeship will be based in Brisbane.   Your key responsibilities will include:   

Diagnose and rectify faults in refrigeration control systems Establish the basic operating conditions of vapour compression systems Dismantle, replace and assemble engineering components Install refrigerant pipe work, flow controls and accessories, maintaining low temperature systems Prepare and connect refrigerant tubing and fittings Locate and rectify faults in low voltage electrical equipment using set procedures 

  To be considered for this role:   

Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer satisfaction  Mechanical aptitude, an eagerness to learn and ability to participate in working as part of a team.    Own transportation and current Victorian Probationary or full Drivers Licence Willing to undergo a Medical and Police Check Be able to work without supervision to proactively anticipate and resolve issues
