Allied Health Assistant – Aged Care Services (Full-Time, QLD with Travel)

Are you a motivated Allied Health Assistant looking for a dynamic role in aged care? We are seeking a Full-Time AHA to join our team and support the delivery of services across Residential Aged Care (RAC) and Support at Home programs throughout Queensland.

Position Details:

• Employment Type: Full-Time (Fixed Term)
• Location: Various locations across Queensland (Travel involved)
• Start Date: Immediate start available
• Benefits: Attractive hourly rate + Super + Travel reimbursement

About the Role:

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will support the delivery of aged care services by delivering training, education, and therapy plans as directed by our Allied Health Professionals. This is a dynamic, hands-on role that combines client support with staff education.

You will travel to various sites, providing high-quality support to enhance client wellbeing and independence, while promoting best practices among care staff.
Please note: Travel may include interstate locations if additional support is needed in other states.

Requirements:

• Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance (or equivalent qualification)
• Previous experience in aged care highly regarded
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and travel as required
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Flu & COVID vaccination evidence
• First Aid & CPR certification

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Subcontract, Casual, Freelance, Locum

Pay: $50,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 38 per week

Experience:

• AHA: 1 year (Preferred)
